Are SolutionsBank deposit accounts FDIC insured?
Answer
Yes! On October 3, 2008, FDIC deposit insurance temporarily increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor through December 31, 2009.
On October 14, 2008, all non-interest bearing transaction deposit accounts, including all personal and business checking deposit accounts that do not earn interest, are fully insured for the entire amount in the deposit account. This unlimited insurance coverage is temporary and will remain in effect until December 31, 2009.

How do I set up Direct Deposit of my payroll check?
Answer
After your SolutionsBank checking account has been opened, you will receive SolutionsBank's routing and transit number and your account number. If your employer participates in a direct deposit program, simply provide this information to the human resources or payroll department at your company and your direct deposit will usually begin within thirty days.

Can I get information about my account by phone?
Answer
Yes! Account information is available from our Telephone Banking System 24 hours a day at (866)-435-9115 or you can call your local branch. To find the phone number for your branch, please visit the locations and hours page on our Web site.

At this time, we only accept applications from persons residing within the United States with valid U.S. tax identification numbers (Social Security Numbers).

Yes! Funds can be transferred to and from SolutionsBank accounts by wire transfer or via ACH (Automated Clearing House) debits or credits. Call your local branch or (913) 851-1000 for more information.

How do I make a deposit to my account from a remote location?
Answer
You can do most of your banking by using direct deposit, ATM's or ACH (Automated Clearing House) transactions. SolutionsBank also offers a bank-by-mail service which allows you to mail non-recurring deposits. Contact us for details on a method that's best for you.

How do I access Online Banking?
Answer
Online Banking can be accessed directly from the SolutionsBank web site located at www.solutionsbank.com. Login information can be entered in the box in the middle left portion of the home page. You can also access online banking by clicking on the "Online Banking" tab on the bar at the top of the home page.

Can I look at all of my transactions at any time?
Answer
Yes, with both Online Banking and the automated voice response system, you have access to your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

After I have submitted my application for online bill pay, how soon will it be available?
Answer
SolutionsBank's bill pay feature is available immediately after enrollment. Sometimes you may need to log out and back in to online banking for the change to take effect.

What do I do if I forget my User ID or Password?
Answer
If you forget your User ID you can call (913) 851-1000 or e-mail customerservice@solutionsbank.com to receive your User ID. If you forget your password you can reset it yourself by following the link on the main login page of online banking or you can call (913) 851-1000 or e-mail customerservice@solutionsbank.com to have your password reset.

What is Enhanced Login Security?
Answer
Enhanced Login Security is a free feature we have added to personal online banking that allows you to enroll an unlimited number of computers that will recognize not only your User ID and Password, but any computer you have enrolled. If the computer you are using is not recognized, you will be prompted to answer 3 challenge questions you set up during the enrollment process of online banking.

What if I forget the answers to my 3 challenge questions?
Answer
If you don't know the answers to the challenge questions you have set up but are able to log in to online banking, from the User Options menu, you can reset the questions by choosing the Challenge Question Setup. If you are being prompted for your challenge questions and don't know the answers, you can call (913) 851-1000 or e-mail customerservice@solutionsbank.com

Bill Payment FAQ's
Question
How does Bill Payment work?
Answer
Online Bill Pay allows you to pay your bills 24 hours per day, 7 days per week from anywhere that you can access the Internet.
Bill Pay allows you to set up your payee information and use it repeatedly to make payments to anyone you would pay by check. You can pay the person who mows your lawn or the cable TV company or your mortgage payment. Anyone that can be paid by check can be paid through Bill Pay.
If the payee accepts electronic payments, you can set the payment up to pay electronically. If the payee can not be paid electronically, a check will be created and mailed. When the payee actually deposits or cashes the check, the item will appear in your account just like any other check and you will be able to view an image.
Question
After I make a bill payment, how long does it take for the money to be debited from my account?
Answer
If the payment is made electronically, the funds will be debited electronically from your account on the payment date. If the payment is by check, the funds will be withdrawn from your account when the check is presented at SolutionsBank for payment.
Question
How long does it take for a payment to reach the payee?
Answer
An electronic payment will access the payee's account within 2-3 business days. If the payment is made by check, you should allow the same amount of time for it to get to the payee as you would if you mailed it yourself. We recommend allowing 7 - 10 business days to ensure the payee receives the payment on time.
Question
Are Business Accounts eligible for bill pay?
Answer
Yes, business accounts can enroll for bill pay from the funds transfer menu of commercial online banking. The enrollment process is different from the personal in that the application must be printed off and mailed to SolutionsBank. SolutionsBank will then mail the application along with an approval letter to CheckFree (bill pay provider) and CheckFree will mail an activation code to the customer to begin using bill pay.
